Background

Advertising veteran Joel Babbit and Rolling Stones' Keyboardist Chuck Leavell, teamed up to build this environmental news and information website, with news coverage of national and local importance. The website also allows users to create their own profiles and blogs and connect with other green-minded individuals.

Advertisers can sponsor sections of the site and spread awareness about their CSR activities spanning their green initiatives.

The MNN.COM website is built around the popular Drupal CMS platform that allows Mother Nature Network writers, bloggers and editors flexibility to control content flow and publishing.

The site has been implemented for www.glickinteractive.com - our partner design and strategy agency based in the US.

Ankur and his team located in India, have done a fantastic job in building and then maintaining MNN.com over the past 2 years. The site has seen consistent traffic growth since it was launched in 2008 and has reached over 20 million pageviews per month. We have been able to successfully scale the site to thousands of concurrent users, thanks largely to the strong collaboration between the development team in India and the managed hosting partner Colocube in the US.
